My name is Amanda Allsup and I am responsible for maximizing the financial gift support to annual campaigns including the Faculty/Staff, Islander Fund, Parents' Council, and Momentum Capital Campaign segments- Parents' Momentum Fund and Faculty/Staff Momentum Fund. I work closely with senior level managers in establishing private funding priorities annually and am responsible for coordinating and efficiently managing the University's annual phonathon, which is staffed by 20 full-time Island Caller students. I maintain the necessary relations program to keep the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi name and its mission alive in the minds of alumni, parents, faculty/staff, students and private donors. I identify potential donors, advise on particular funding opportunities for special projects, and negotiate terms of private support to the institution. I also develop strategic annual fundraising actions, events, and innovative written materials to maintain and stimulate the interest of private support from current donors and prospective donors to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
I'm a San Antonio native who began attending Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2004. I worked as a student fundraiser for the Office of Development while pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In 2005, after being recognized as the top student fundraiser, I was promoted to Program Manager with capacity to oversee the Phonathon operations. I graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management in 2007.
I enjoy visiting family and friends in San Antonio very frequently. In my free time, I love to travel and visit historical sites. My interests include the study of philanthropy, sports, art, reading, travel, fashion, and music.
