Campaign leader and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Foundation board member Rosie Garza announced the Selena Memorial Scholarship Endowment for students in music and the performing arts at the Wave of the Future Gala. The scholarship was made possible by a gift from the Selena Foundation. "Selena's dream was education," said Garza. "We now have the scholarships to fulfill her dreams and through the endowment many students will be able to learn about music and fulfill their dreams. |
