- Take US-77 N for approximately 159 miles through Harlingen and Kingsville to the intersection with IH-37.
- Merge onto IH-37 S and travel approximately 15 miles until IH-37 ends at Shoreline Boulevard.
- Turn right onto Shoreline Boulevard/Ocean Drive for approximately 12 miles.
- Turn right into campus and stop at kiosk for visitors' parking permit.
