Our Location

Welcome to Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend. Our location on the Gulf of Mexico makes us a vacation destination for many while providing recreational opportunities such as windsurfing, fishing and boating. We’re also positioned about midway between Houston and Brownsville, so we’re close to several major Texas cities.

The Port of Corpus Christi serves the nation as its sixth largest port. With more than 350,000 people throughout the region, the area provides both the amenities of a major city and the intimacy of comfortable neighborhoods.

From Bayfest to the Texas Jazz Festival, you’ll enjoy many celebrations held in a vibrant downtown, a breathtaking waterfront, sensational seafood, concerts, cultural activities and professional sports games.

While Corpus Christi has a magnificent shoreline along its city neighborhoods, Padre Island is only 15 minutes away from campus. Mustang Island is just another short drive, and further down the road, you’ll come to the quaint “village” of Port Aransas.

For those who want to stretch along miles and miles of sand, Padre Island National Seashore offers more than 130,000 acres of beautiful sandy shores and seasonal flora.
