UNIVERSITY HOUSING ACCESS STATEMENT Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi has
a variety of living options available to students. Whether you want to
live in an on-campus residence hall or apartment, or prefer an off
campus housing experience, A&M-Corpus Christi is eager to assist
you with your housing needs. The primary goal of on campus housing at
A&M-CC is to foster retention. Traditional first and second year
students entering college at the University for the first time will be
given priority for on campus housing assignments. A traditional first
year college student is typically one who arrives on-campus in the
academic year following high school graduation, is 18 -19 years of age,
seeks their education on a full-time basis, and is unmarried without
children or other dependents. A traditional first year college student
is expected to complete 30 semester hours of credit in their first
year. Traditional second year college students are expected to have
