Camden Miramar Employment Opportunities

Camden Miramar Resident Advisor Job Qualifications:

  • Sophomore level status or higher
  • Successful completion of the RA class
  • 2.25 Cumulative GPA
  • At least one full semester of on-campus housing experience
  • Must be available for an entire academic year
Job Requirement:
  • Planning of and participation in building programs and Miramar-wide programs
  • On call shifts and office duties
  • Available to work during holidays
  • Monthly inspections
  • Monthly building newsletter
  • Monthly developmental in service
  • Monthly 1-1 meeting with Coordinator
  • Building meeting once a semester
  • RA workshop in fall and spring
  • Check RA folder daily
  • Pass on information to residents daily
  • Weekly meetings
  • Weekly reports
  • Work during some holidays
  • RAs must arrive early and stay after students have left at the end of each semester
  • Summer RAs will also work with the conference housing program
