Currently 42 students are enrolled as candidates for the M.A. in English. Roughly half attend as full-time students; half work full time outside the University and attend classes part-time (3-6 credit hours per semester).

Since its inception in 1993, many of our graduates have come from (and returned) to elementary and secondary schools in surrounding school districts. In addition, other graduates have advanced to Ph.D. programs such as the University of Kentucky, Bowling Green State University, Arizona State University, and Texas Tech University. Another has been accepted at the University of Texas- Austin law school. Still others are working as technical writers. |
