During your first semester, you will be assigned a faculty advisor, who is your most immediate guide through graduate studies. While we try to make sure all graduate faculty have advisees and no one faculty member is overloaded, we also invite you to let us know with whom you would most like to work. Please make an appointment to meet with your faculty advisor before registering for your second semester of graduate studies. At this time, you and your advisor will develop a tentative degree plan to map out a sequence of courses to complete the program. Your advisor will also be happy to answer your questions about Ph.D. programs and career possibilities.
